Koolickle: Pickles Gone Wild

Hot off the press at the NYT: it seems that kids in the Missisippi delta have taken to eating pickles pickled in Kool-Aid. The Koolickle as it is called is prepared by marinating traditional pickles in the famous sugary libation. Double Quick, a delta based convenience store is apparently moving in to trademark the Koolickle. You could probably try this at home: Cut your pickles in half, add double strength Kool-Aid, and let ‘em sit in the refrigerator for about a week. Deep Fried Kudzo suggests leaving half of the original pickle juice in the jar. Enjoy y’all.
